THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION

WE ALL ASK QUESTIONS -- Important questions about many things, including life and death. We may seek answers in various places but there is only one source of truth where we can go for reliable answers: God's Word, The Bible! (2 Timothy 3:16)

ONE IMPORTANT QUESTION -- What will happen to me when I die? The answer is that we will all face God in judgment. (Hebrews 9:27) And the fact is that we are all guilty because we have all sinned. (Romans 3:23)

THERE IS GOOD NEWS -- Left on our own, we have no hope. But the good news is that God sent his Son. (John 3:16, Luke 19:10). Jesus died to pay the price for our sins. He was raised from the dead to bring about our salvation. (1Peter 1:3-5) Why? He loves us and no one else could do it! (Romans 5:6-8; Hebrews 5:7-9)

THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION -- This is not a new question. People have been asking it for thousands of years. The question is:

WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?

THE ANSWER -- 2000 years ago, the Apostle Peter said, repent and be baptized for the remission of sins.(Acts 2:38) It's the same today. Believe Jesus is the Son of God. Repent and be baptized. Obey His simple command. God will forgive your sins!

GOD'S FREE GIFT -- Eternal life! (Romans 6:23) Jesus conquered death. We can too. (Romans 6:3-8) Imagine! An eternal home with God, and that's not all. Even this life will be better! We can have a life full of purpose and hope now, and the promise of eternal life with God in the future.

PLEASE DON'T DELAY -- Seek God while He may be found. (Isaiah 55:6) We don't know when we will die. Also, God has set a date when Jesus will return and it will be too late. (2 Peter 3:9-10) Don't wait until it is too late!

RESPOND TO GOD'S INVITATION TODAY!

MAYBE YOU'RE NOT READY -- It's a big decision! If you're not ready right now, take the time to study God's Word. This is too important ... the rewards too valuable ... the risks too great ... the cost was far too high! It needs and deserves serious thought!
